I am always the "caregiver" and love taking care of others and making sure their needs are met, however I never like the focus on me and have a really hard time allowing someone take care of me. So now you have challenged me to try and change my mindset and try to begin to love myself, it won't be easy, but I will work on it! Thanks Kim!Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09798370257098625597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1252390716871521856.post-86873388207173140592012-02-06T08:50:13.083-08:002012-02-06T08:50:13.083-08:00Kim, I think you probably nailed it with this blog...Kim, I think you probably nailed it with this blog. Our worthiness is based in nothing more than ACCEPTING that God loves us, so we can love others-Covenant LORD.<br />So many Christians (I, for one), still don't feel worthy. We forget that God is Love and He loves us unconditionally, but rarely do we also love ourselves in a similar fashion-not even close. That so often makes us afraid to even try to love others. We may be willing to lay down our lives for our most beloved family members, but fail to grasp our own worthiness in His eyes. Time to go back and search scriptural references for how much and how He loves us. Love, CandyCandynoreply@blogger.com
